Our Story
Country Charm Venue is a family-owned business, originally founded in 2017 by the Raulston family of Neosho. Their wedding venue journey began when they fell in love with the rustic charm of the property. Originally, it was a working dairy farm operated by the Brock family. They purchased the land and began transforming it into a beloved wedding venue in Neosho, MO. In 2025, original owners Oren and Sandy decided it was time to step back from the business, and ownership was taken over by Elmer and Jackie Marshall. Our goal is to continue to provide our guests with a unique experience that they will remember for years to come.

Jackie Marshall Owner & On-site Coordinator
My professional journey is a unique blend of high-end hospitality, education, and technical artistry. For several decades, I have immersed myself in the world of Technical Theatre, specifically focusing on stage management. Consequently, this experience has equipped me with an unparalleled level of organization. It allows me to maintain a “calm in the storm” presence during complex live events.
My time as a Disney Concierge further refined my dedication to world-class service, teaching me that the smallest details often make the biggest impact on a guest’s experience. Therefore, transitioning into the event venue industry allows me to merge my logistical precision with my lifelong passion for creative design.
I view every wedding as a production where the couple are the stars, and my role is to ensure the “show” runs flawlessly behind the scenes. My background in education has also gifted me with the patience and communication skills necessary to guide families through emotional milestones.
As a result, I have become a master problem-solver who thrives on turning a creative vision into a tangible reality. Ultimately, I am a storyteller at heart, using my diverse skills to curate intimate spaces where new chapters begin. I bring the discipline of the theatre and the magic of world-class hospitality to every event I host.

As a co-owner and key pillar of daily operations at Country Charm, Elmer ensures every guest experiences true farmhouse hospitality the moment they step onto the property. He leads our popular monthly paint parties and coordinates community events. His warmth truly sets the tone for the entire venue.
In addition, Elmer is also the creative craftsman behind the scenes, building custom construction pieces like our giant wooden portrait frame. Therefore, he is able to bring a couple’s unique vision to life.

Branden is the digital architect behind Country Charm Venue, managing our WordPress platform and online systems with absolute precision. As a result, he ensures your online experience is completely seamless. From your first virtual tour to the final planning stages, the process is stress-free.
By optimizing our digital strategy and planning tools, Branden streamlines communication between our team and our couples. His technical expertise ensures that the logistical side of your wedding journey runs smoothly backstage, allowing you to focus entirely on the excitement of your big day.
Edmund Sellors
Event Coordinator & Officiant
Edmund is a jack-of-all-trades at Country Charm. As an ordained minister, he helps couples craft personal ceremonies. Additionally, his expertise in day-of coordination, setup, and teardown ensures the entire event runs smoothly from start to finish.
From overseeing the initial venue setup to orchestrating the final teardown, Edmund’s hands-on coordination ensures that the “backstage” operations of every wedding run like clockwork. His dedication to detail and calm execution ensures that our couples can relax and truly be the stars of their own show.
From its beginnings as a historic working dairy farm to the vibrant event space it is today, Country Charm has always been about bringing people together. Gathering on the front porch with our family, friends, and local business neighbors for our official ribbon cutting was the perfect celebration of this next chapter.
