There is something truly magical about the beginning of May. The air is fresh, the landscape is bursting with new life. Consequently, it serves as the most breathtaking backdrop for an outdoor love story. Here at Country Charm, we recently had the absolute honor of hosting Shalee and Raider’s gorgeous Lavender and Sage Green Spring Wedding. It was a day filled with pure romance, thoughtful details, and effortless elegance. Every beautiful moment was flawlessly captured by the talented Becca Kistler of Lash & Lens Studio, LLC.
Shalee’s vision for the day was a beautiful blend of rustic warmth and soft sophistication. She chose a stunning palette of lavender and sage green, which complemented our five-acre property perfectly. From the delicate floral arrangements to the beautifully coordinated decor, every corner of the venue felt like a breath of fresh spring air.
Designing a Lavender and Sage Green Spring Wedding
Long before the wedding weekend arrived, Shalee and I sat down together to design her dream centerpieces. Getting those details locked in early meant that when Friday setup finally arrived, everyone knew the exact vision we were bringing to life.
On Friday, the reception hall was a beautiful buzz of teamwork. Shalee, her wonderful friends, and her family all pitched in to help set the tables. Meanwhile I focused on crafting the main arch behind the head table. I also added elegant lavender and sage accents throughout the hall. It was such a fun, collaborative day! Ultimately, seeing the reception space come together ahead of time meant a huge sigh of relief before the big day even started.
The Magic Behind the Scenes
While the reception hall was safely styled and ready to go by Friday evening, Saturday morning was all about the outdoor ceremony space.
As a bride, your wedding morning should be entirely stress-free. It should be filled with laughter and precious moments with your bridesmaids while getting ready. As Shalee and her girls were tucked away doing just that, I was hard at work out by the pond . I wanted to bring her ceremony vision to life perfectly. Fortunately, as I was styling the ceremony space, a few of Shalee’s wonderful family members jumped right in to help me hang, drape, and staple everything perfectly into place.
We took care of every single detail of her outdoor ceremony space. We styled the wedding arbor and perfectly arranged the sage and lavender accents. Shalee shared the sweetest feedback in her Google review, saying:

A Farmhouse Welcome Just for the Bride and Groom
Hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. Therefor, we love spoiling our couples from the moment they step onto the property. While Shalee and her bridal party were getting ready in the farmhouse, we made sure they had everything they needed to relax and savor the morning.
For instance, we set up a private hospitality spread just for them. This included refreshing bottled water and a variety of snacks to keep their energy up before walking down the aisle. In addition, a special surprise waiting for them! We tucked a custom beautiful, personalized cutting board into a custom gift basket to celebrate their new life together. Ultimately, it’s these quiet, thoughtful moments in the farmhouse that make a wedding day feel truly personal and unforgettable.
Happily Ever After
